
MEET STEVE TOTH
State Representative Steve Toth is a small business owner representing South Montgomery County in the Texas House of Representatives. With a background in business consulting and construction, Toth has been quoted in the Houston Chronicle Business section and his construction firm has been featured several times in his industry’s trade publications. He and his wife Babette currently own and operate a pool service company.
Steve and Babette, married since 1986, have three children, and are grandparents to twins. The Toths have lived in Montgomery County for over 20 years. As an ordained minister, Steve has served as a family life pastor and as a teaching elder; and is actively engaged in his local church and ministries.
Representative Toth was first elected to serve House District 15 in 2012 and was elected again in 2018. He is currently serving in his fourth consecutive term.
As a member of the State House, Steve has garnered a reputation as a stalwart conservative. He has consistently been ranked as one of the most conservative legislators in Texas, receiving coveted awards year after year for his work on Conservative issues that support faith, family, and freedom.
Representative Toth serves on the powerful Appropriations Committee, crafting the budget for the state with the 8th largest economy in the world. As Chair of the Texas Prayer Caucus, Steve led the efforts in creating a weekly Pursuit Night at the Texas Capitol; where members and guests gather together in praise, worship, and pursuit of Jesus Christ.
